How Does Ultrasonic Cleaning Work ?

Ultrasonic cleaning is a process that uses ultrasound (high frequency sound waves, usually from 25 – 200 kHz), and with an appropriate cleaning fluid – fine, intensive cleaning of an array of products can be achieved quickly and very effectively. Ultrasonic Cleaner ELS90H Heated 7.4 litre

The ultrasonic cleaner can be used with ordinary tap water, however an appropriate ultrasonic cleaning fluid will aid in softening the specific soil, which will greatly improve the ultrasonic cleaning effect.

Ultrasonic Cleaning cycle times are normally between 5 to 10 minutes, but can also exceed 20 minutes, depending entirely on the object to be cleaned and the extent of the soil contamination.

Ultrasonic Cleaning was first used in industrial cleaning applications in the 1950’s.

Ultrasonic cleaners are being used to clean a very wide variety of different types of products – These would include:  jewellery, watches, dental and surgical instruments, machine parts, military equipment, tools, coins, golf clubs, window blinds, firearms, musical instruments, industrial parts, lenses, electronic components, to name a few !

If you want something ‘clean’, then you should be using an Elmasonic Ultrasonic Cleaner.
